This video clip shows an experimental fire which took place on February 20th 2009, covering the whole catchment of Vale Torto, Góis. These are the late stages of the fire, any remaining flames coming from the drainage line. The objective of the experiment is to test the effects of controlled fire, to see whether it is less damaging than wildfire.
