Repeated measurements

(2 weekly/ monthly):

• Soil moisture with permanent installed time domain reflectometers TDR (Campbell Scientific, type CS615) (20 cm depth) measured for each treatment every day.
• Soil temperature at 10 cm depth measured every one hour.
• Sediment loss every rainfall event.
• Surface water runoff every 5 minutes.
• Soil organic matter once for the whole period
• Soil strength of moist soil (shear vane, in kPa)
• Surface compaction
• Steady state infiltration rate, using an Eijkelkamp - soil air permeameter.
• Empty sediment tanks after each rainfall. Runoff is automatically recorded.
