Duration

Based on the experience that (especially external) stakeholders have difficulties attending a more than 1 day workshop, the WP 3.1 methodology suggests to work during the first two days with local stakeholders only on the specific conditions, problems and potentials of the local context, and to include external participants, who can bring in a more regional perspective, on the third day.

Study sites that used the WP 3.1 methodology organised (see also Table 3):

  • 3-day workshop: 9 study sites
  • 2-day workshop: 2 study sites
  • 1-day workshop: 1 study sites

Table 4 shows that different study sites have chosen different modes of working with local and external stakeholders together or separately. As not all workshop reports include respective information, 'n.a.' means that no specific info was provided.
