Main activity on this location: The traditional crop system used half part of the land as follow, and the other half part as cultivated. The next year, they cultivate the fallow area and let in fallow, the cultivated area. With those kind of soil and due to the use of fertilizers, the only reason for this rotation is the necessity to let space and food for animals. Usually, land preparation is mechanized, meanwhile the other works are done by hands. Due to the pests, the corn is not associated. Crops are fertilized at least during the seeding with porc manure bought abroad and some times, a second one during the corn mounding. Crop residues are mechanically crushed and given to animals at the end of dry season.
On the farm there are some (+-10) animals, mainly kept on extensive pastures, when field are in fallow as well on the matorral formation. Rarely they are in outside simple stables, mainly at the end of dry season, when they give pasture to them. Therefore, manure production is very low. There is no slurry retention system.
