Agronomical activities by stakeholder

  • Interviews and discussions with local stakeholders - the information obtained can be very detailed but will be guided by individual perceptions and the different (often hidden) agendas of the stakeholders. Although, all kinds of visible and invisible (i.e., social) changes, can be made through interviews with other stakeholders. Visible improvements or deterioration can be cross-checked with photo-monitoring and participatory transect walks.
  • Interpretation of photo-monitoring by stakeholders and interviews.
  • Observation made and discussed during a participatory transect walk provide a detailed view, especially of biophysical issues, although social and economic issues can be also addressed.
