Education level

The education level is also a relevant constraint for technology adoption, and the situation in the area shows a low schooling; almost 30% of the area is administrated by people without any education, and 11% has only elementary school, which in Chile correspond to 8 years (Table 7). If we add this fact to the advance age of the population in the area, promoting any development and conservation program requires generating a plan that do not implies considering practices that are not very different compared to what they are doing today.
