These guidelines are a working instrument for use in conducting and moderating the DESIRE stakeholder workshops and the assessment of strategies to combat desertification. The DESIRE methodology was developed by the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE). It is based on experiences from the "Learning for sustainability (L4S)" methodology (link expired) and the WOCAT methodology.
