Monitoring activities
The objective of the monitoring plan is, considering the catchment as a whole and some sub-catchments, to produce a set of maps with the identified erosion soil processes (e.g. classification, severity, changes and rates).
As soil erosion by water is not the sole soil degradation process, also the mass movement map and soil erosion by tillage and land levelling will be considered as well.
The frequency of observation will differ according to each class of degradation process and will be specified individually.
