Flux connectivity

(Monitoring frequency: twice a year)

The technique that will be used has been recently published (Borselli et al., 2008). It allows assessing flux connectivity directly in field or in a GIS environment (FIC and IC technique in the quoted paper - see appendix of present document). Field survey will be widely used in the indentified host spots for soil erosion by water. These technique associates the survey of morphological characteristic, land cover and soil characteristics with sedimentation pattern visible in field after different magnitude events. The connectivity indices will be used to compare also the effect of potential SWC techniques and mitigation strategies. Map and database of observations will be produced.
